Design Language
For an air purifier, this one is an eye-catcher. It looks like a terrarium more than an air purifier. The upper, transparent glass part of its cylindrical design carries the moss and coconut filters, while the bottom, dark plastic part houses the Nano Matrix filter.
Interestingly, the plastic, despite looking non-biodegradable, is the opposite. That's because the plastic is actually made from elephant grass, and so it’s environmentally friendly. Design: What is it like?
The first thing that will catch your attention is the minimal yet complete design of the Pixoo Max. The front has nothing other than the 32x32 pixel display, which is a notable upgrade from the 16x16 display that comes with the original Pixoo. The only buttons (three of them) on this display are on the sides - 2 buttons for cycling through different visual channels, and one power button.

Switchbot Hub 2 Review: Must-Have Smart Home Gadget
SwitchBot Hub Mini was my favorite smart home device, but not anymore. Meet Switchbot Hub 2.
Briefly, the SwitchBot Hub 2 is a device that can turn most IR-controlled devices into smart devices. It does so by learning the IR signal of your remote control and imitating the same. Unlike the previous model, the Hub 2 measures and displays room temperature, humidity & illumination. Since it connects to WiFi, all the data and the remote control are accessible from anywhere.
The Upgrade from V1
The SwitchBot Smart Hub Mini was one of their highest-selling products, if not the highest selling product, on Amazon. It has racked up over 40,000 ratings. Surprisingly, SwitchBot was also selling a thermometer hygrometer combo device. Essentially, they took the Hub and the Thermo Hygrometer and combined them to create the SwitchBot Hub 2.
Unlike the Hub 1, this version is matter supported and hence, it works with Apple homekit.
Wemorii One Home – Smart Inhalation Therapy Device
Wemorii is a smart inhalation therapy wellness device. It creates scents to suit different moods. There are 4 modes depending on your mood and comfort. Sleep, Energy, Immunity and Stress Relief.
It has 3 vials and 24 different recipes can be created by mixing those vials. Each recipe is paired with a mood light to enhance the therapy experience. Everything can be controlled and customized through their smartphone app connected over WiFi.
On regular use, each vial should last about a month or so. Vials are nothing but pods with oils. Refills are available on their website for $30 per vial. It seems quite expensive to me.
The device uses a 12V power source but lacks a USB C input. Wemorii One Home is expected to hit the market in Q2 of 2023 at a price tag of $299
Moen Smart Shower Digital Controller
Moen has been producing some of the most helpful smart home products for a while now and I recently got a chance to check out their latest smart shower. Unlike a traditional shower, this one connects to WiFi and can be operated in different ways.
There are three methods of shower control but the most useful one would be through voice assistants like Google/Alexa. The Smart Shower also has temperature control. Meaning, you can ask the shower to set the water temperature to 100°F and in seconds, Moen shower automatically adjusts the temperature.
The shower is customizable based on your personal preference. All of this can be done through Moen app.
AirCozy Premium – Smart Pillow
Aircozy is a smart, connected pillow that can increase its height based on your sleeping position. For example, if you are sleeping on your back and change the position to side sleeping, the pillow auto adjusts its height to keep your airways open. With this, you'll have better sleep at night and wake up refreshed.
The pillow also features a speaker. It connects to your smartphone over Bluetooth. You can play music or white noise on the speaker.
One caveat with this product is that it comes with a wearable attachment that needs to be worn all night. It is a very tiny, lightweight clip and has to be clipped to your pants. That is where you have sensors to determine your sleeping angles.
Degrii Zima Pro – Pool Cleaning Robot
Zima Pro is a smart, radar-powered pool cleaner that is capable of cleaning up to 5000 sq. ft. pool on a single charge. It is a smart device that connects to WiFi and can be operated from your phone.
Equipped with radar, Zima Pro can map everything around it and move efficiently. With the help of powerful suction motors, it can climb and clean walls too.
Not just that, the product is also equipped with a filter that can purify the water while cleaning the pool surfaces. This is very useful.
The smartphone app lets you do many things including controlling the robot manually. There is a cool, RC mode too. This is mostly for kids to have fun with the robot.
Degrii Zima Pro is said to launch on Kickstarter sometime in Q1 of 2023 and the price is expected to be under $1000 which is a deal.
WORX Landroid Vision – Robot Lawn Mower
The Landroid Vision from WORX is one of the most hi-tech robot lawnmowers you will find. It looks very cool, has great features and mainly, comes from a reputable brand.
WORX vision, unlike most other lawnmowers, does not require a boundary wire. You can set the virtual boundary around your home with their app and you are done. It is a powerful device that cuts grass to the very edge and can climb over small obstacles like water pipes, stones, etc.
The mower comes with many smart features. You can manually control it or schedule it. You can even have the device run at night (it has 2 bright lights). If the battery runs out, the mower auto returns to the base to recharge it before resuming mowing.

I knew about this lamp for a while now but I got a chance to try and test it myself at CES2022. Puripot lamp is a two-in-one device that can provide light as well as clean the air around you. From the outside, it looks just like an ordinary lamp.
