Here is a gadget that can be your assistant not only in the lawn section but also in gardening. Oto, a smart, cloud-connected sprinkler.
Oto is a smart device, which means it connects to your wifi and can be operated from anywhere around the world. It also has cloud connectivity which helps the device to know the weather pattern, wind, rain, etc. Based on this, it makes a decision on how much to water today and when to do it.
Oto works anywhere because it is solar-powered. 2-3 hours of sunlight waters the entire area which is about 2800 sq ft, every day. Installation is simple, you pick an optimal spot, fix the device there, connect it to a water hose and voila.
With the help of the smartphone app, you can easily set boundaries, no water zones and do many more things.
The company also sells different solutions. One to kill mosquitoes & ticks, one to fertilize the lawn and one to clean dog mess! These solutions are add-ons and are not mandatory.
You can also get an external solar panel if your place gets minimal sunlight.
