The add-on battery is rated at 1,159Wh which is enough to give you around 7-8 hours of running time while in the cooling mode. Once low on power, you can juice up your air conditioning by either connecting it to the mains, a solar unit, a car charger, or a power station.

When connected to the mains and drawing about 743W, the unit charges fully in just about 2 hours, which is quite convenient. If using the 400W solar panel and getting anywhere between 100-300W, the air conditioner will take 4-8 hours to get to full charge.

Operating the EcoFlow Wave 2 with the physical buttons atop the unit is a breeze but if you need even more convenience, the EcoFlow app comes in really handy and can use either Bluetooth or 2.4G Wi-Fi.
