I was waiting for this 3.0 USB port ,
But the sad thing of today’s date is the USB 3.0 is not compatible with every motherboard :(
For using USB 3.0 you will need to have this Motherboard :D

Nice to finally see. I need an i7 soon and USB3 is definitely something I wasn’t waiting to have as well. Hopefully the reviews rate this well.

Will it Hackentosh?

Being that USB 3.0 is backwards compatible why would they continue to include USB 2.0 ports as well. Seems a bit silly to me.

BTW, Linux was the first operating system to support the USB 3.0 standard.

Ashish Kalmegh – you will have to use a USB3 motherboard to get USB3 speeds, but if you put as USB3 device into a USB2 or USB1.1 port, it will work – just at the lower speed.

You can’t really expect old motherboards to support something which didnt even exist when they were made though :s
