QuietOn 3 – ANC Sleep Earbuds

There are numerous noise-canceling earbuds on the market but almost all of them are audio earbuds with noise cancellation as a secondary feature. Earbuds like Galaxy Buds, Bose, etc do a good job in minimizing the noise around you but they come not even close to the one we are about to see. Meet QuietOn, an active noise canceling earbuds mainly for sleeping. Also, these earbuds do only one job i.e noise cancellation, no audio output.

QuietOn has different versions but in this article, I am talking about QuietOn 3 which is an upgraded version. QuietOn 3 is the smallest ANC device in the world and yet, it is one of the most powerful out there. When I put them on, I was blown away. Even with so many people and so much noise around at the CES show floor, these earbuds did an amazing job at canceling out some of the higher frequency noises.

I am not lying, these are the best noise-canceling earbuds I have ever tried. Personally, I use Sony XM4 headphones and after truing QuietOn earbuds, I can easily say that these two are comparable. Blose Sleepbuds 2 is another product that does a similar thing but instead of active noise cancellation, it does noise masking. ANC is better than masking if you ask me.

QuietOn 3 is a plug-and-play device. You don’t need any smartphones for this to work, just turn on the device and put them in your ears. There is only one mode of operation, so no pesky controls and customizations. Inserting them takes a few seconds though, you have to press the ear tips, insert them inside the ear and push anti-clockwise to lock them.

As I mentioned earlier, you can only use these earbuds for noise cancellation. You cannot play any music or sound.

The battery life is around 28 hours on a single charge and the carry case has a battery in itself that can recharge these earbuds about 3 times. It uses USB C input.

The earbuds include 4 different sizes of ear tips and changing them is simple. QuietOn 3 is best to reduce snoring sound. So, if your partner snores a lot, this is a game-changer. It is also useful for families with children or kids, also students who struggle hard to concentrate in noisy environments.
