A good garden can improve the general aesthetic of your lawn while still serving the intended purpose of lighting up the area. However, with so many solar garden lights at a click, how do you cut through the clutter? Well, we have done the heavy lifting for you and reviewed one of the best solar garden lights that will give you value for your money.

Litom is one of the top manufacturers of solar lights. They have almost every kind of light for outdoor use. In this post, I am particularly reviewing their upgraded 30LED solar landscaping spotlight. I have been using these lights for quite some time and they rock! Also, I recently wrote an in-depth buying guide on solar spotlights, don’t forget to check it out.

What’s in the Box

This solar landscape spotlight that can be used to light up the garden, lawn, yard, patio, stairs, garage, pool, front door, porch, balcony, walkway, driveway, camping, fishing, fence, wall, and pathways. This is arguably one of the most versatile solar garden lights with the widest application.

I have 4 of these lights and they are worth every penny

Adjustable

The feature we like about Litom Lawn Lights is that it is easily adjustable. It comes with an adjustable solar panel (45 ° adjustable) to maximize the solar absorption rate. Also, it has a light head that can be adjusted up to 115 ° so that you can obtain the best lighting angle. Unlike other lights, the light head and solar panel can be adjusted independently, thus giving you unprecedented freedom.

Brightness

The Litom solar light has a unique 30 LED silver focus light head, which increases brightness and prevents dust from entering. It has an 800 lumens output and the floodlight design makes it capable of covering a range of up to 172 Sq ft. If you are looking for the best solar garden light that is sustainable and bright, then this is the right choice.

Warm light in low mode

Dual Color Mode

Another feature we like about Litom solar lights outdoor is the dual-color mode, which gives you the freedom to adjust the light according to your personal needs. You can adjust to either cold white mode or warm white mode. This was one of the most important deciding factors for me. Also, there are two modes in each color, high and low. You can set these with the help of a button present at the back of the light.

Cold white light

Having a light with bith cold and warm white options is super useful

Battery Backup

Battery is another factor you should consider. With a decent 2200mAh battery, the Litom upgraded spotlight lasts for up to 12 hours in low mode and up to 6 hours in low mode. I personally keep them in the low mode because it is bright enough to illuminate a few plants in my garden.

Solar Charging

With a large 2W solar panel, this light recharges quite quickly. The company suggests around 6-8 hours of charging time under direct sunlight but if you are living in a place like Phoenix Arizona, 4-5 hours might be enough. When it is super cloudy or rainy outside, the lights won’t last until the dawn. Even though this is rare, I have experienced it a few times during monsoons.

Even during the monsoons, the lights stay on until around 3 AM, if not until dawn

Controls

The color and the brightness can be controlled with the button at the back of the light. Pressing it once sets the light into low bright cold white. Pressing it again changes it to high bright cold white. Pressing it the third or fourth time puts it in warm mode. Tapping it the fifth time turns off the light.

Also, you don’t have to turn on the light manually every day. Once you set the desired color and brightness, it will automatically turn on depending on the outside environment. There is a light sensor on the top of the solar panel. So, when its dusk, the sensor triggers, and the light is automatically turned on.

Weatherproof

This landscaping light is waterproof which means it can be used in the rain, snow, high heat, and other extreme weather. The all-weather feature makes it the best solar-powered spot lighting solution for your garden. In fact, I have these lights tucked in my garden as well.

Final Verdict

If you are looking for an solar light for outdoor use, look no further. I can’t stress how good these lights are in terms of features, quality, and price. I have 4 of these now and I want to buy a couple more. I highly recommend these lights to everyone. Avoid buying those old-styled round-shaped spotlights, they aren’t aesthetic at all. Again, Litom lights are 100% recommended by me and this post is not sponsored by them or something. I just like the quality of their products.
