Boogie Board VersaBoard Review – Reusable LCD Notepad

Being able to jot down notes, ideas, and inspirations quickly and easily is a key part of staying productive. It’s even better when those notes can easily be organized and saved. The Boogie Board VersaBoard seems to me, the perfect tool for just that.

Ever since I got this, I have been using the pad for creating a list of weekly tasks remaining. It’s fun to strike them off one by one.

Design and size

The VersaBoard is an 8.4″ x 5.44″ x 0.5″ LCD tablet with a sleek exterior that comes in different colors. It’s recommended that you use it with the Boogie Board stylus, but you can also use a pen, pencil, or finger.

And at 0.35 pounds, this is not a weighty notepad.

If you’d rather go with a square-ish notepad, the Boogie Board VersaTiles Memo Board should be a good alternative. It’s also lightweight and as easy to use as the VersaBoard.

Features

One of the most important things to note about the Boogie Board VersaBoard is that it’s an LCD-based device. Thus you can expect a bright, durable screen designed with materials that provide a natural writing experience.

The durable LCD writing surface erases easily with just a tap of the eraser end of the stylus at the bottom corner of the LCD. Keep in mind that “erasing” clears the whole screen.

You’ll also love the magnets at the side and back of the notepad, albeit the one at the back isn’t so strong. The magnets on the sides, however, do a great job when it comes to holding the stylus.

Would I recommend it?

Absolutely. The Boogie Board VersaBoard is a great tool for taking notes and staying organized, especially if you’re someone who’s always on the go. Also, if you are a note-taker during meetings, lectures, etc, VersaBoard is a great product for you. It is a good office accessory as well.

Note: Keep in mind that the notes that you take are not saved anywhere. So, it disappears once you touch the rear end of the stylus to the eraser marker. Sometimes, this can happen by mistake which is annoying.
