Autel EVO 2 – Drone with 8K Camera
Autel Robotics showcased its newest product Evo 2 at CES 2020 and it has an 8K camera on board. Evo 2, in my opinion, will be one of the coolest drones of 2020.
It shoots in 8K, has a maximum range of 9 km and a battery backup of 40 hours. Are you kidding me? If the battery is really 40 hours, this drone is a steal.
Evo 2 has an obstacle avoidance system, intelligent flight controls, and foldable propellers. This drone is as compact as DJI Mavic 2 but is slightly heavier than Mavic Pro or 2.
One of the best features that captivated me is their quite propeller design. I have a Mavic Pro and I can say that Evo 2’s makes 50% less noise while flying, I was just shocked when I saw their demo at CES.

Yeelight Staria – Bedside Lamp is the Coolest Desk Lamp
Yeelight showcased their super cool looking, aesthetically pleasing bedside lamp named Staria during CES 2020. I loved it immediately after I saw. The ergonomics and design aspects of the lamp are phenomenal. It can be controlled via smartphone and features an LED lamp that can emit white and warm-colored light.
Staria also features a 10W wireless charging surface on its stand. This allows you to charge any smartphone with QI charging capability.
Yeelight Staria is priced at around $90 and it will be available in the US soon. I would definitely have this cool looking lamp on my table.
mui – A wooden Plank with a Hidden Display
MUI is a cool wooden plank with a twist, it has a display embedded inside it. It is 100% made out of wood and the best thing is it has a touch display that can show notifications, set timer and play music.
One thing I forgot to mention is that it has an inbuilt speaker too, how cool is that? It has a built-in google assistant that is voice search enabled. MUI also integrates with several smart bulbs such as Hue and lets you control the brightness by sliding across the horizontal axis. It can show weather, your schedule and more.
The panel is not thick at all, it is just as the size of a typical wooden plank (you can see it from the image above). It can be fitted on any wall or hard surface. Costing around $600, this gadget is definitely not cheap but is a good fit if
Lumicharge LD – Desk Lamp, Wireless Speaker, Phone Charger & More
I came across the Lumicharge LD smart lamp during the CES 2020 event this week. The lamp is multifunctional. It has a wireless smartphone charger on the top and a swiveling charging port which has USB C, Micro USB and Lightning Port options.
The device has a smart RGB light that can be controlled via a mobile app or through google home or Alexa. It also has an integrated wireless speaker that lets you stream any music from your phone. The audio quality is not bad at all, I personally liked it when I tested it out. There are a couple of physical buttons on the lamp that can control volume and stuff like that.
Lumicharge LD lamp can have a digital timer but it supports only 24-hour format. You can insert the battery to use it as a wireless lamp/speaker too. This lamp is perfect for home use or for students
Kanex Gopower Powerbank for Apple Watch
Kanex Gopower is a power bank for smartwatches, apple watch to be specific. It is equipped with a 5200mAh battery capacity and has a micro USB port and a USB port that can charge your iPhone.
With 5200mAh power capacity, you can probably charge your iPhone twice and your Apple watch at least 5 times. This smartwatch battery bank is so small and portable, you can even carry it around in your pocket. This is a must have apple watch accessory.

V-Coptr Falcon Bi-Copter Drone
Zero zero robotics showcased their latest drone named V Coptr Falcon at CES 2020 and it is definitely one of the coolest drones I have ever seen.
V Copter Falcon has a 4K camera with gimbal stabilization, 7 km remote control range and a whopping 50 minutes battery life. Read it again, 50 minutes of flight time. This is something no other drones have, not even the best in the market.
This bicopter could last for such a long time just because it uses only 2 motors whereas a typical drone uses 4 motors, thereby increasing the power consumption. Falcon bicopter does all maneuvers with just 2 motors. It can go sideways, rotate and whatnot.
The bicopter has a front-facing collision avoidance mechanism. I wish it had a 360-degree collision avoidance system. I have personally seen and had my hands-on experience with this V Coptr Falcon even though I haven't tested it outdoors.

If you are new to underwater drones, you might not be familiar with PowerVision. It is a popular company that has some of the best underwater drones ever existed. They recently released their aerial drone called Poweregg X which is kinda cool as it is waterproof and transformable. Pokit PRO – All in one Multimeter, Oscilloscope and Logger
I came across this amazing gadget during CES 2020 and it is by far one of my favorite pieces of tech in 2020. Pokit Pro is a 3 in 1 device that can act as a multimeter, oscilloscope and data logger. The multimeter supports up to 600V and 10A. The oscilloscope can measure frequencies, display waveforms on your phone and works in time and frequency domain. The data logger can log the data continuously for six months. The logger is really handy if you are testing something in the long run.
You can visualize all the reading via their smartphone app. Since it connects wirelessly, you can put the device in action somewhere and view the reading at a distance.
It has a rechargeable battery that lasts upto 6 months which is ridiculously high. I wish I had this gadget when I was pursuing my Electronics Engineering Undergrads. Pokit pro is ultra-portable,
