Today, the world has been moving towards renewable energy sources at a rapid pace. Solar-powered devices are popular than ever. It comes with a lot of benefits such as low maintenance, rebates, etc. It’s a win-win for both nature and yourself. In this article, I am going to compare one such solar gadget that is popular amongst residential homeowners. We are talking about solar spotlights!

There are plenty of solar spotlights on the market and it might be difficult to choose one. Thankfully, we have a dedicated solar spotlight buying guide where we have handpicked some of the coolest and most innovative spotlights.

In this post, I am comparing two popular spotlights, URPOWER vs InnoGear. Both of which are 200 lumens in flux capacity. To be honest, I would avoid these old-looking lights and get a trendy and more innovative one like Litom.

Physical Specifications

Both the URPOWER and InnoGear solar spotlights look exactly the same as if they are twins. They have a circular face coupled with 4 LEDs. They have adjustable solar panels that tilt 180°. The circular face can be adjusted too with a maximum angle of 90°.

Both these spotlights can be installed in two ways, either sticking into the ground or mounting onto the walls. They are capable of turning ON automatically when it is dark and features a single color i.e white. You are provided two modes that control the brightness of LED lights i.e high light mode and low light mode.

Technical Specifications

Similar to physical specifications, technically both URPOWER and InnoGear solar spotlights don’t differ much. As you may know, the light intensity is measured by Lumens which is nothing but the visible light perceived by the eye. These spotlights are using LEDs of 50 Lumens each which makes it 200 Lumens when combined. They are powered by a 3.7V 2200mAh lithium-ion battery.

InnoGear advertises their spotlight to have a runtime of 6-12 hrs depending on modes whereas URPOWER has a runtime of 6-9 hrs. Given both these features the same battery capacity and light intensity, both must have the same working hours.

URPOWER InnoGear

URPOWER vs InnoGear: Which one to consider?

Both URPOWER and InnoGear are well known and have the same specs. Both the solar spotlights costs around $30. So choosing any one of the above doesn’t make a huge difference. If I have to be brutally honest, ignore both of these and get Litom. I personally have 6 Litom lights and I am loving them.
