I’m a reasonably tall guy at 6’2″, so a comfortable bike that fits me is essential, and I just so happen to have one. For guys even taller, I can imagine the struggle is very real. So, after doing some research and reading the reviews, here are the best e-bikes for tall riders.

The Aventon Soltera is an excellent and inexpensive electric bike for tall man with a maximum 44″ seat height for tall riders (up to 6’4″) who want a lot of bang for their buck. It’s a beautiful bike in black, blue, or citrine. And this type 2 e-bike will get you up to 20mph and carry you 41 miles with a 350W hub motor.

6. GEN3 The Outcross

Another excellent value, this class 2 all-terrain e-bike will get you where you need to be with a 500W Bafang motor and up to 35 miles of range. Five levels of pedal assist will get you up to the 20 mph top speed. Offroad rides are much more comfortable with 26″ x4″ fat tires.

Tall riders, you’re covered up to 6’6″ and up to 280 lbs. Due to the 45″ max seat height. Maneuverability is excellent at a lighter 65.3 lbs. The mechanical disc brakes could be more robust at just 160mm, but the Shimano 7-speed gearing at this price point is excellent.

A Trekking comfort saddle will make your tush happy, while a backlit LCD screen will be kind to your eyes. Get out there and hit the pavement and moderate trails. This ebike is priced very reasonably too!

7. Juiced Bikes RipCurrent S

The RipCurrent S screams pure awesome. We tall riders looking for fat-tire fun, will get you anywhere with a fantastic 70-mile range and at class 3 speeds of 28mph with a 750-watt Bafang motor. Hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power a class 3 bike requires.

Tall people ride comfortably with an upright handlebar and a maximum seat height of 43.3″ on the XL version and 40″ on the large. Juiced says the height accommodated is 6’7″, and weights accommodated are up to 300 lbs.

A 9-speed transmission, five levels of peddle assist, and a relatively light weight of 76 lbs, make the RipCurrent S a breeze to ride and a lot of fun on the road and accessible trails.
