E-bikes have established themselves as the most fun way to get around. The ability to easily ride up hills or down the street at 25 mph makes them an absolute blast. How much fun is riding to the gym or office on a bike that gets you there fast and lets you choose your level of assistance?

I’m a reasonably tall guy at 6’2″, so a comfortable bike that fits me is essential, and I just so happen to have one. For guys even taller, I can imagine the struggle is very real. So, after doing some research and reading the reviews, here are the best e-bikes for tall riders.

Top e-Bikes for Tall People – Editor’s Picks

All these bikes are handpicked and personally vetted by me. These bikes support riders over 6ft

1. Ride1Up LMT’D e-bike

Ride1Up has excellent bikes at great prices. A maximum seat height of 40″ and handle height of 42″ makes this bike an excellent electric bicycle for tall riders, and the handlebars are spaced just right for those of us that need to be in the gym doing back muscle training. While billed as an all-terrain bike, this hybrid cruiser isn’t for hard-core mountain biking but will do some more mild off-roading.

The LMT’D is a type three e-bike with electric-only throttle and power-assisted pedaling, meaning there is potential to reach speeds of 28mph. The weight of this bike is awesome at just 53 lbs and has a decent range of 30-50 mph.

We taller guys also weigh more, and a 275 lb payload capacity means this bike can easily carry many of us around with its 750W brushless motor easily propelling the bike.

Pedal-assist can often feel like you’re barely pedaling depending on the gear being used on the 7-speed Shimano gearing. 180mm hydraulic brakes mean a rapid stop. It’s a spectacular e-bike for guys up to 6’4″

Any of Ride1Up bikes, whether the cruiser, commuter, or all-terrain, the XR frame will accommodate tall riders. Check out the 500 series, Core-5, and Cafe Cruiser. They are all outstanding values.

The Aventon Soltera is an excellent and inexpensive electric bike for tall riders (up to 6’4″) who want a lot of bang for their buck. It’s a beautiful bike in black, blue, or citrine. And this type 2 e-bike will get you up to 20mph and carry you 41 miles with a 350W hub motor.

Previously, we had featured the Gen3 Outcross bike on this list. We had to take it out as they are out of stock for several months now and there is no update.

Outcross supported riders up to 6’6″ and 280 lbs. Look-wise, it was so good, definitely my personal favorite in the style category.

E-bikes are fantastic, especially now that gas prices are over $5/gallon. Anyone of these e-bikes is going to be a great option for taller people that want to get out and ride. Whether for a daily commute or just for fun, owners of each of these e-bikes rave about the quality. They’ll tell you how much fun it has introduced into their lives on Amazon.

I find myself writing reviews like this but pining away to get out on my bike for an hour or two. It certainly makes me work faster knowing there is a 15-mile ride waiting for me.

Now get out there and ride 🙂
